Elkfather

Early in the adventuring career of the Iron Tide, the heroes were requested by the Priest Jhod Khavken to find and restore an ancient temple of Erastil in the Forests of the Greenbelt. After the heroes slayed a foul dire bear that had made the ancient ruins it’s home, and sanctified the grounds of the temple once again, Jhod stayed behind at the grounds to rebuild the ruined temple and slowly restore it to it’s former glory. Years later and now the High Priest of the Iron Lands, Jhod’s Temple has become the forest settlement of Elkfather, so named after the God Erastil for whom it’s temple is dedicated.

Elkfather is a place of religious pilgrimage for worshippers of Erastil, as well as a modest hunter-gatherer and logging community, living off the land in the northern forests of the Narlmarches. Notable figures include High Priest Jhod Khavken, defacto leader of the settlement, as well as Corax, the lumberjack foreman of the nearby logging camp.
